Severe storm warnings have been issued for Queensland and NSW on Wednesday afternoon due to the risk of damaging winds and large hail.
Suncorp says it will increase its premiums and claims allowance to deal with future natural disasters as it warns of a challenging outlook.

Yesterday afternoon parts of Queensland were barraged by damaging winds, hail and torrents of water.
Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) says it will take weeks to repair the damage from the storm that ripped through the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Cooroy.
Teams of specialist mental health workers have been deployed to southern Queensland to help in the flood recovery.
