Wuruma Dam Family Fishing Comp.

I have been asked to circulate this attached flyer for the stocking association out at Wuruma Dam, so I thought there would be no better way to reach a few keen freshwater anglers than by posting up the flier here.

 

The competition will be held on the weekend of the 26th and 27th of February 2011. Prizes, Bar, BBQ and entertainment on Saturday night. Sounds like a whole lot of friendly banter and fun for everyone.

 

It would be great if some of us could make the weekend to support the efforts of the hard working stocking group.

 

The lake should be settled by then after the recent influx of rain from the catchment area and good fishing had. It is a fantastic lake to explore for those who haven't visited the fishery before which is situated about 50km south of Monto. Stand up and lay down timber, steep rock walls and rocky outcrops along with undulating grassy points and bays to fish for resident species that have been stocked such as Silver and Golden Perch, Bass, Toga and some mixed sized Barramundi.

I haven't got any entry forms, so it's best if you ring the numbers on the flier to receive them, via fax or email I suppose.
