:youbeauty hide that one in the pool room
Tenterfield Dart made by Trevor McFeeters. its an early one as well with T & J initials, later ones only had T initial after divorce.
regarded as one of the best small cod lures and an excellent yellow belly lure as well.

Cheers Brad

:P :P I held that Shrimp of elops in my hand at the convention I am pretty sure, one of Trevors rare and harder to find models. I spent a couple of hours chatting to Trevor many years ago, when he had a littlr shop on the main drag through T/field. Just chattiing about this place and that fish, a couple of cuppas and watching him carve a few between customers. Bought a couple of Darts and an Aussie 200, knocked back his offer of a shrimp he was going to throw in.....who is the silly bugger now  :'(
Lost all the ones I bought over the years, never replaced them. It wasn't till I started collecting in earnest that I found out 6 months before Trevor had stopped making lures.
managed to find a Dart and an Aussie with some battle damage on ebay, paid about 4 times what Trev used to sell them for, but well  ::) thats lure collecting  :)

One day I'll find some fella out in the bush with the trifecta in good nick  :thumbsup

Yes thats the one Brad. Found it floating in Glen Lyon in 94 I think, had a fair bit of use since, has caught 3 species of Cod.
Gave it a run at the convention but only caught this  :'(

cheers

I found a Tenterfield Dart during a comfort break on a rocky bank at Glenlyon back in the early 80's.
Ended up with my PB Yella on that lure at 5.2 Kg that day, lure was lost to an old ironbark the next day :'(
Still have a 200, same colour & condition as Brads & it gets a swim every now & then.
The shrimp are now being made under liscence by some company now as I bought one not long ago, will have to check on the manufacturer.

Cheers Andrew

Andrew, the company is JAZZ lures, they have produced an updated version of all Trevor's lures in plastic. 2 sizes of Shrimp, 1 Dart and 1 Aussie 200. According to their spiel, Trevor was involved with the design and they are made under some sort of agreement. I haven't heard anything on how they fish or even if anyone has used them.
