Dale, Are you putting together any trips on 2011?

If so roughly what dates?

Cheers,

Yeah we were trying to get over in September but a few things have happened here that made us put it on hold.  We've been invited to the Rabaul Marlin Tournament in November, and I'm hoping to get there for that, but Pam's due to become a Grandmother in November so we may not be able to go.  As far as things happening over there, I was talking to Riccard last week.  The new lodge is up and running at the Kombi, giving good access to the Kulu and other less pressured rivers west of Kimbe.  That's been going well.  Marlin have been sticking their beaks in around Baia with 12 landed on the last trim there, from the longboats, very close to the Lodge.  One visitor even got a Sailfish on a Skitterpop and a Curado.  I'm getting really itchy fingers to get back there soon.

I fish because the little voices in my head tell me to.
