To Fish ? or Not to Fish ?
« on: December 26, 2010, 10:39:07 AM »
Seasons  Greetings to one and all ,
i Have until the 2nd of January off work and was hoping to hit a few lakes for day trips and or camp out ,
i live in Slacks Creek (LOGAN CITY ) so there are a bunch of lakes not that far away ...  BUT ..... with all the rain and Flooding i am hoping for some good oil  as to what lakes are still fishable and also what camp sites arent either under water  or in accessable .. i have heard that some caravan parks/camp sites are closed ,, but are they just stories ?     I have fished Monduran ,Maroon and Crestbrooke in the past and i was hoping to add a few more dams to my lakes fished , Borumba,BoonDooma,Bjelke peterson , Cania ,cooby and Leslie  and a few that spring to mind ,, so any info would be Much appreciated .. even some Creek / Rivers that are accessable  for Bass ?? in the South east ..
Thank you in advance
Tony B

Yeh go west young man, less rain out that way. Have a look at your BOM site. You might also find Glen Lyon is OK.
