The bar raised a lil bit :)
« on: April 26, 2012, 10:53:50 PM »
Another night at the locals chasin bass and threadfin, started the night on a couple of lil bass then moved onto another spot, worked lures along side dave for a fair effort before finally a couple of knocks finally turned into a connection followed by the TF sitting on the surface doing not much a lil tail slappin and shaking its head then it gained traction and the lil stradic screamed its head off, i lost a fair chunk of 10lb before it settled down to a few smaller runs and dragged him up on the mud. Raised the bar to 80cm and very healthy thick fish. really enjoying this hot action on my jointed sub surface lure.. left dave at them and hope he got the thrill of another  TF

Gee Wes, you're working them out, good on you for sharing your learning curve on the area mate.  :youbeauty

Who is going to up raise the bar from here?

I'm half tempted to go play on the mud banks myself..... ah that's right, kids footy etc this weekend. Ah well, next week maybe......

cheers fitzy i am more then happy to help promote the health of the river, it holds many secrets the bremer and the more people fishing  will  reveal some quality fish, i would like to see the council install rubbish traps like the ones down the gold coast. it would help reduce plant matter surface debris and public rubbish. or getting a sub contractor to remove the larger logs and various other UFOs (unidentified floating objects)  :D

We got none.

There were a few fish working further down a bit but.

Was good fun, recon that fresh running in wouldnt have helped too much

Even chucked a big Cultiva around at the end walking the dog.
