Fishway inproves bass fishing
« on: April 19, 2012, 06:25:35 PM »
fishers are seeing a lot more Australian Bass upstream of fishways on both the Wolli Creek Weir, an inner Sydney tributary of the Cooks River, and the Nepean River, on the southern side of Sydney.
The Wolli Creek fishway was constructed in 2009, ending decades of isolation from habitat upstream. A
video of fish using the fishway was produced soon after completion.
