Got my tag and recapture certificate information from Suntag for my Bass I caught and released earlier this month :

It was originally tagged at Mt Crosby Weir back in June 05 at 270mm
Recaptured just below Wivenhoe 58kms upstream at 550mm
Days out 2160
Growth 280mm

Compared to some of the other tagged bass information , this fish has been on roids !!!!

Caught two tagged Bass on the last day of the bass season , got the info from them today.

Australian Bass tagged 31/10/1997
Total length 290mm
Location Lake Somerset
Recaptured 31/05/2011 Mid Brisbane river
Days Out 4960
Total length 530mm
Growth 240mm

Australian Bass tagged 15/05/1995
Total length 390mm
Location Lake Wivenhoe
Recaptured 31/05/2011 Mid Brisbane river
Days out 5860
Total length 440mm
Growth 50mm

In 16 years this fish only grew 50mm??? Maybe this fish went over the BigW wall in 99' and has done it tough in the river ever since .

Maybe he only grew for another couple of years and then stopped.  I don't suppose his name was Garry??
