Title: Moved north
Post by: Paul Dolan on March 16, 2017, 12:16:23 PM
Hi guys and gals ,It's been a long time since I've been on here and posted anything,I moved north to the Mackay region after fishing up here in 2014.
I wanted to get out of Hervey bay and away from all the commercial fishing and have more access to some of the best sweetwater fishing available on the east coast.
So I sold up last year and bought a house out at Mirani about 30 k west of Mackay to try and do some guiding on Kinchant ,Teemburra ,Eungella dams for barra and sooties  and the  Pioneer river for sooties. And some guiding in the salt at Seaforth in the rust water.

Been getting some nice barra on both fly and lures from Kinchant and Teemburra and only yesterday got back from an over night trip  to Eungella and got into some great sooty grunter on topwater using the new Lively Lures Ziggy SD 90.
Here,s a clip I did of the Pioneer river trip I did recently http://youtu.be/UuFFufqxJHU (http://youtu.be/UuFFufqxJHU)
