Lake Boondooma Fishing Report For the week beginning Monday 16th March 2014

The week started with reports of no fish but as the week went on the fishing slowly improved. Then something happened Friday because the fish came on in a big way. The weekend saw Matthew Mott Fishing Charters catch and release over 300 fish. The bait fishermen were doing really well in the trees but the lure of choice was blades, jigging in about 30ft of water. For all you old school fishos I watched Mr Mott sitting in the main bay with Ski boats buzzing around him and still caught fish in big numbers. There was no yelling and screaming just a nod of the head or a polite wave and back to catching fish.
Thank you to the share farmer over the weekend going out at 9.30pm every night you know who you are!!!!
Tilapia are being caught in big numbers so remember the rules and destroy them.
