Title: Windamere Dam fishing club
Post by: Stewart on October 26, 2014, 03:24:13 PM
We've just moved to Mudgee from Scone, where we used to fish Glenbawn Dam regularly with the boat we used to have. Now days we fish from a canoe and kayak. After having a look around, Windamere Dam seems a short drive from Mudgee for fishing and camping on regular visits. On closer inspections we've noticed a locked gate just up the road from the main camping area toward Kandos. We'd like to know if a fishing club runs that area, and if so, which one, could it be the Rylstone/Kandos anglers club? It would save a lot of paddling if we could launch from there, plus it would be nice to meet like minded people in the area to go fishing with. Thanks if you can help. :thanks

Well I found out today if anyone's interested, it's the Rylstone/Kandos anglers club, and I had to go on a waiting list would you believe!
