New gear

It's a well known fact that you can't have enough gear so the other day I indulged in a little retail therapy. I went out and bought a Daiwa Alphas 103. But what to team it up with? More retail therapy meant the addition of a Temple Fork Outfitters 2-4kg 7ft rod to the bag and some 10lb Suffix Gore superline. Bloody thing casts a hardbody lure into the next postcode. This of course means that the Bass season is going to take a long time to roll around so I'll have to find an alternative to the local streams. Somerset's looking pretty good at the moment.

fishing is not essential to life, it's much more important
