Thanks Brett.  I had no intention of buying it.  I just wanted to kick it along a bit so Kathy got a bit more.  It's about time some of the money for Peters work went to her.  Please let Kathy know that it's not going anywhere.  My grandson will eventually have it.  Having now heard the history of the lure, those who are saying its not genuine can kiss my bass.

After some of the values being thrown around on Peter Newell lures, I'm surprised I won the auction for what I bid.  Have any of these Newell lures really passed hands for the numbers we've heard about, or are people trying to inflate the value of them?  I'm glad Kathy is happy with the outcome.
