Title: Humminbird Matrix 17 PC connection

A good mate of mine has just replaced his old bird and since I am his IT support guy I need to get the waypoints off the old unit.

Anyone got the PC connection cables that I could borrow for a few weeks?
I am on the southside of Brisvegas.

Had a similar problem recently but other way around - when I upgraded my computer, all of a sudden those old serial cables don't work anymore! No serial ports on the new box!
Panic mode!

I've had a few gizmo's over the years that still need the old serials too. Eventually tracked down a usb to serial cable.

that is what I did, but took a couple before I got one that worked, they are not all equal!
Good luck with finding a cable for the 'bird.
