Wyaralong Dam is now spilling

Seqwater advises that due to rainfall in the catchment, Wyaralong Dam has commenced spilling.
If you are concerned about road closures or other flood impacts, you should contact your local council.  River level information can be obtained from the Bureau of Meteorology website, bom.gov.au

It was just touching the top of the spill on Monday. Any breeze would have made it spill.

Not that much more coming down the brook that i saw. Ground is wet that way and run off from amy rain will make it run and spill for sure

On Monday afternoon, out the back of Lake Moogerah a stationary storm dropped more than a 100mm in an hour.

The result being the Moogerah lake level increased by a metre or so and almost a major flood went down the Teviot Brook ( Wyaralong's feeder). The Teviot came within a whisker of major flood status when the peak arrived in Boonah on Monday night.

Add that on top of the flow of last Friday/Saturday hence the spill.
