Day 1
Very windy 20 -25 kont wind saw the main partr of the lake closed to competitors. Access within the bays was permitted or competitors could fish the river downstream, most opted for the later.
116 bass were recorded on catch cards. Most were bass with 2 golden perch caught.
Biggest bass day one was 56cm by Steven Micalef
Biggest golden perch day one was 56cm by Allison Sewell
Leader board as one end of day one
Allison Sewell 110 points
Wes Watson 101 points
Steven Micalef 56 points
Leigh Purdie 55 points
You can throw a blanket over the rest of the field from 55cm down with the bass caught.
Day two & the wind has eased off a little. Most anglers have again headed for the river downstream of Lake Wivenhoe but a few kayakers have headed out to the lake in search of fish.
Presentations at 3pm at Logan Complex if anyone wishes to attend.

Glad to hear it went ok, just as well you opened the comp up to the river as well. It blew that hard first day last year I thought it to dangerous for me to fish the open dam, it was blowing a lot harder Saturday, so I was quite worried you might have to call it off.

:youbeauty I was thinking of the event and the competitors over the weekend with those windy conditions and hoped it was a great success.
