Title: Knots in Mono
Post by: BG on April 09, 2011, 01:49:25 PM
G'day folks, I am just playing around with a new leader set-up (new to me) and after a bit of advise.

Putting a double overhand knot in monofillament does that weaken it greatly ?

Certainly not in the list of high strength knots!

Just make sure the know locks sometimes with lighter finer mono the knot can slip undone.

Happens a bit with 6lb shogun ice blue.

Thanks fellas, I might have to do some tests.  If it doesn't work I might ask for ideas.
