Doin donuts on the ribba.
But how good are those p@@fter rods.
-
I'm very impressed with the Gladiator Cape Yorker. Short rods rock!
-
Where can we buy Gladiator Cape Yorker Rods . We are in the Ipswich / Brisbane region.

Craig at Charltons Tackle at Redbank handed me one a couple days ago to look at, I know he has them in stock, they are closed today, I'm sure they're open tomorrow.
Cheers

Thanks for that

There are 2 sizes available, I think 4-6lb & 8-10lb. Charlton's had them both the other day when I was there.
Cheers,
Fitz..

I'll be getting some more. This one is the 8 to 10, it's coming down to Mulwala with me next week. The 4 to 6 may be a bit better for Bassin. I'm running a standard internals, blinged 6.3:1 Zillion on it.

Picked up two 4 - 6 kg rods yesterday from charltons .Used them today, worked well nice and compact. Checked out shines road today, no way I could put prowler 13 in there, any access up or down stream.
Thanks for your help.

Only other access other than Heart Attack Hill is Harpeng Road at the bottom end of that hole. A local farmer mistakenly thought he was more important than the general public or government & fenced off the road reserve, however you're allowed to go over/through the fence at the end to access the river. Harpeng Road Reserve is much closer to the water than Heart Attack (Shines Rd)

At Shines rd, just remember the easier option to launch when following the flood markers down the hill, is to follow the track to the LEFT when you get to the big tree at the bottom .
Plenty of people follow the track to the right , but it makes it very hard going .
Cheers,
Dave.

We went and had a good look at Harpeng rd ,great spot but looks like farmer has put new fence in. Four strands of barb wire tight and last one close to ground and plenty of post and star pickets so not any give. Also could see one other fence down the bottom to get over.
Easiest way would be through the gate on my left when looking at the river.
Has anyone approached the property owner at no.22 for access.
