Ok, let the word go forth, there's $500 CASH up for grabs in the - Sweetwater Fishing Aussie Lure Makers Challenge.
There's $500 cash prize to the winner of the following lure making challenge.
We're looking for a jointed wake bait primarily for cod fishing that can also cover bass.
Specifications
:tick Wake bait / swim bait - ultra shallow sub-surface lure that pushes a wake in front.
:tick Aussie Made , prefer timber - no overseas lures
:tick prefer 90 - 120mm long is the target size we're looking for but up to 150 is ok
:tick at least 3 body segments (2 joints)
:tick color - doesn't matter. It's the action we're looking for
:tick prefer floating but just suspending is ok
Will leave the rest up to the individual creative genius of the lure maker.

Entries need to be in the PO Box by 12 November 2015.
Lure makers can send multiple entries if desired.
I will be choosing the winner when fishing cod fishing when the season opens.
All entries / submissions become the property of the cash sponsor. None will be returned, they will be put on display at the 2016 Australian Lure Fly & Outdoors Expo. Entries will be photographed & promoted here. If possible, video will be shot of each lure in action. :thumbsup
The winning lure will be announced here on Sweetwater Fishing Australia at end of November after some tank & field testing & will be shown at the 2016 Australian Lure Expo.
One winner of $500 will be paid by electronic transfer.
Why? We're trying to get Aussie lure makers into making a lure of this type / size; which appears to be under done at present by Aussie lure makers. We're trying to inspire the creative thinking that Aussies are so great at.
