Boynedale Bush Camp
« on: July 01, 2011, 06:10:01 PM »
Hi just curious, been a couple of year since we visited Boynedale Campground, just wondering can any one advise me on the following the current water level of the dam out there and how the fishing fairing. We intend too head that way late July/ August but we doing some forward planning before we head off.
We like to chase some inland fishing for a change free camping along the way, if any one has other suggestion please message me.

Thanks Ray.

ray)
i have been up there in the last week and the state of the camp grounds are great at the moment, with fish (barra) been caught throughout this area. good reports of redclaw as well from this area also.  the dam is still dribbling but by then the level should have dropped slightly.

basic info, but hope it helps a little

Paradise Dam also has a great little free camp, may just be worth a look Ray if you've not already been. Fishing can be a bit slow there but it is a pretty spot with lake views from the camp. The dam has some very good kayak-waters ( neat little timbered bays and feeder creeks to explore ) with very little boat traffic to spoil the serenity.  8)
