I will get an update at tonight's SWFSA meeting.  I thought the bridges were pretty close to being finished.  When the bridges are done, Sailing club members will be back in, but the public won't be welcome until the roads have been repaired.

The work on the bridges has finished and they are open.  If you have a Sailing Club key you can access the ramp.

I wonder why it's only the sailing club that has access. Im sure my kayak is lighter than a boat. Or maybe you have sail over the new bridges.

The sailing club lease the area from SEQWater.  That will change in the near future.

I drove down there yesterday.  Bridge is finshed but the gates are still locked.  The council says that they expect the site to open to public access late this year.

Cannot wait for this. It will open up far easier access to some really good water that currently requires a looooong paddle to get to.
