St George Fishing & Restocking Club invites you to attend their ANNUAL FISHING COMPETITION

4th & 5th October 2014

Balonne River - St George. Qld

Thousands in Cash & Prizes to be won!!!

ADULT ENTRY Cash Prize Draw $1000 (Must be there in person to collect)

BAR & BBQ

Competition based on Secret Weight

All Proceeds go to the Restocking of the Balonne & Moonie Rivers

Commences 8am Saturday 04/10/14

Concludes 12 noon Sunday 05/10/14

Thanks for the heads up. Looking to take some time off, so that might be a bit of fun.
Regards .... "secret weight". Does that mean it's not a catch and release comp?

Correct. But it's illegal to release carp anyway.....

aha .... I didn't realise it was a carp comp ..... must have skipped over that part. (^_^)

Would be great to get some carp and put them in my garden, great fertiliser.

What happens to the carp that are caught? After weigh in, they go straight into a bin or a skip bin for a fertiliser mob?
