TO wait or go for gold
« on: March 11, 2013, 04:37:53 PM »
Has anyone fished on the bremer river for bass or bull sharks recently???   From what ive seen of the bremer river it looks manageable (will scout launch site tmw). Other than brown water is there any other nasties that i should consider or beware of before paddling on Wednesday or thursday???

I have these 2 days off and i'm eager to wet a line  :Hunting)

cheers in advance Brad.

I recon go for it Brad. If I had a day off that's where I'd be heading.  :thumbsup

Can't think of any nasties other than the usual bull sharks to keep in the back of the mind. Be keen to hear how you go mate...  :thumbsup

Went for a paddle on the Bremer yesterday. Still running fairly fast. Was a real pain trying to stay still enough to get a few good casts in. Didn't get any interest during the time I was there. Water was fairly dirty but slowly clearing I think. Give it a week or so of fine weather and it might start coming good again.
