MINOR TO MODERATE FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE BARWON RIVER AT MUNGINDI
Issued at 9:39 AM on Friday the 1st of October 2010
Flood Warning Number: 15
The river level at Mungindi was falling very slowly at 6.06 metres at 9:00am Friday morning, which is slightly below its minor flood level. Another minor to moderate flood peak is expected there during the second week of October due to renewed rises upstream in the Weir and Macintyre Rivers.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
Mungindi - reach 6.7 metres around 9 October with minor to moderate
flooding
- at this stage it is too early to assess if this will be
the peak
