Title: Windy Day at Baroon.
Post by: Binder on November 16, 2012, 05:40:49 PM
Windy day at Baroon. Blowing about 25 to 30 knots I'd reckon. Didn't worry the ol Silver Bullet though.
Checked my shrimp traps to find the shrimp gods had not been appeased, 50 odd shrimp, but only about 10 decent bait size.

Had to work hard for the fish, 9 all up in 4 hours, had to move a lot. In the end I had to use the 15lb plough anchor to hold position, the 10lb sand anchor kept dragging in the wind.
In the end 4 Bass and 5 Tandans (A sign of the wind, baits hitting the bottom on the yaw) Was having to put 2 or 3 small shrimp on the hook at a time.
