Glenlyon or pindari?

Keen to get my cod on after many years of fart arsing around in the winter time saying this is the year for cod. BUT this year I WILL be heading to either of these dams with a  newly acquired hds 10 for a few days, any tips on either dam? having never fished either dam I will be heading down blind so looking to gather a Lil info before heading off,

No advice mate, been to Glenlyon a few times but not enough give you a few pointers.

Keen to see how you get on though. :youbeauty Might plan a trip down that way when things warm up a bit.

Beau,
Been to both dams but without a great deal of success. Of the two Id give Glenlyon a go. The camping is way better and there's always the wisdom of Brian Dare to call upon when all else fails. The last time I went to Pindari there was an outbreak of Blue Green Algae and it was awful, however I still managed a good Yella. Take some Codman spinnerbaits and some deep divers for both dams. If you go to Pindari get right up into the Severn arm arm of the dam and fish the rock bars.

Re Glen Lyon another source of good info is Tom Barratt lives at Aspley and makes gidgee lures. He is ex Tenterfield local and learned his lure making skills from the old Tenterfield Masters. He still fishes Glen Lyon a lot and knows it like the back of his hand.
