Title: Bass on the chew
Post by: dinodadog on May 02, 2012, 05:29:42 AM
Bass were on the chew yesterday out at North pine dam. They are starting to school and are hungry, well hungry for shrimp but not for lures. Once again I trolled for 2 hours for nothing but when I started using shrimp the bass were all over them. They would bite for awhile then take off and come back in about 10 mins. While the bass were not biting other species were.
Managed one tillie, one spangle, 7 tandanus, 2 yellas and 51 bass. Most of the bass were in the late 30 to early 40cm size. Fingers crossed they stay on the chew for winter and start taking lures as well.
