Works to commence at Brumbys Creek

Hydro Tasmania will be commencing vegetation management works at Brumbys Creek in the vicinity of Hydro Tasmania will be commencing vegetation management works at Brumbys Creek in the vicinity of Fisheries Lane, commencing in the week of April 18th 2016. The car parking area at the duck pond will be closed for several days. In the interests of public safety, access to the right bank and waterways to the south (upstream) of the duck pond area will be closed to unauthorised persons for the duration of the works, expected to be in the order of 6-8 weeks. It is hoped that the amenity of this area will be improved by these works which include removal of derelict structures and weeds.
