Don and Dee
« on: April 14, 2014, 01:18:35 AM »
Heading home yesterday and crossed over these 2 rivers a couple of times. Does anyone know if there are any decent fish in there and any particular parts of the rivers to fish ?

There should be saratoga, yellowbelly, possibly leathery grunter and catfish in those rivers, barra maybe a long shot. But I think the Dee River got smashed with chemical overflow from old mines around Mt Morgan not long back. I'm not sure if anything survived it or not...???

Thanks for that. I am going to plan a trip to the Don River..find a camping spot somewhere and spend the weekend there.
