Title: ‘Creek to Coast’ Channel 7 Barra Segment
Post by: Johnny Mitchell on March 16, 2011, 10:00:09 PM

Scotty Hillier from Channel 7, and the crew arrived in Gladstone keen to wrestle a few barra from the river. A couple of hours fishing and the job was done. The segment is part of the Haines Signature boat review. It'll screen next month. Gladstone local boat dealer Darren Brown did the damage on the fish.
Cheers

G'day Johnny,

If you hear about the exact date next month that the footage will be televised, could you please inform us. I get amused watching Scotty, he's pretty passionate about catching whatever fish, no matter what the size and is just full of energy.

Great, I can put him on to as many Tilapia as he wants.

We will make a sport fish out of this yet.

I wonder if that is actually a great idea, to get some TV focus on the Tilapia- would there be any negatives associated with such a thing?
It could be a good thing. World Tilapia Blitz Comp!
