Title: First serious session in the Scrambler 11...
Post by: Nativeman on October 03, 2010, 02:16:00 PM
Folks

I caught some fish this weekend from the new yak, the Ocean Kayak Scrambler 11.  I caught some good bass and a nice yella. All caught on lures, cast and retrieve to the edge of the bank. This yella in the pic below, was caught after working out it's mood, I was getting alot of taps on the retrieve, I thought to myself pause it for a bit. On the next cast and retrieve I paused the lure and it hit as I moved the lure after the pause.

It put on a fight, the rod was a 1-3 kg Loomis/1000 Stradic with 4lb Finns with a B1 Jonesy Lure.

Gee I love yak fishing, four more days work and I'm back at it again..got to love 9 day fortnights :youbeauty

Cheers

Nice Golden Perch Sel, pretty looking water.  A golden like that would have been handy at Wivenhoe a few weeks back!!

Thanks for posting.

Hi Sel,
Nice Yella & Bass you got there, looks like you've got a fair bit of gear onboard the Scrambler 11 !
