Government and anglers stock Canberra lakes
The National Capital Authority and the Canberra Fisherman’s Club have stocked more than 100,000 golden perch into Canberra’s lakes including Lake Burley Griffin, Gungahlin Pond, West Belconnen Pond and Point Hut Pond.
Part of the stocking was funded by the Canberra Fisherman’s Club’s fish stocking raffle proceeds.
