Title: First Time Cod Fishing

My mate and I headed out on Friday arvo to have a go at fishing for cod.
In total we caught eight cod, three yellas and dropped a few, so it was a rather successful trip.
I caught most of my cod using the Tarki (White & Black) Garra Lure with my mate catching three cod on the surface using a jointed Jitterbug. Had an absolute ball and will be doing it again. (Thanks for the tips Fitzy!).

Nice work on the first go mate. My first Cod trip only yielded 2 fish.

Well done. I ended up with about 7 cod and 3 yellas for the weekend. Lots of casts in between fish! Surprisingly I didn't find it too hot out there on the water. Didn't even go for a dip.
