Title: Bass Returning at NPD
Post by: Binder on April 23, 2011, 03:37:20 PM
Been on holidays, keeping the kids amused with trips every day or so on to North Pine Dam.

Looks the the Bass have finally started to return, only small numbers and small fish, but starting to see bass in the boat the last week or so. I've been getting the odd one or two each trip in my old spots for my last 4 trips, my father got 8 yesterday. Considering I had not seen a bass in the boat out there since before christmas, a very welcome sight.

Binder,

Good to see things getting back to normal!  I must admit I have had some fun below the wall for the last couple of weeks.  Recent releases from the dam may just have pushed them further down stream now though.  Saw a gentlemen catch and release a small bream on the Lake side of  Youngs Crossing this afternoon  :o  Hope a few go on to become resident fish and not in the white buckets!

Regards
Colin
