Went to Baroon Pocket for a session this morning, left daughter at home, gee it made life simple!

Had 8 bass in the boat and a Tandan in about 90 minutes, just a steady bite, a fish every 5 to 10 minutes, enough to keep me interested, when the wind just got to be to much. Rear anchor kept letting go, couldn't be bothered trying to set the plough at the bow end, its a pain to pull up through the Baroon weed, so gave it away for the day.

Smallest 38cm, largest 44cm. Quite a few of them were throwing up heaps of small bait fish when I got them in the boat, good example of how good bait can tempt fish even if they are feeding on something else. Couple of photo's

Young mum and dad at the ramp with their young boy and girl, new fishing gear, no idea, so spent half an hour teaching them how to setup and fish with some live shrimp. Had seen a few fish on the sounder as I pulled up, so you never know, kids might have got lucky after I left.
