Junior angling pond stocked ready for Trout Weekend 2015
The junior angling pond at Liawenee has been stocked with rainbow trout and Atlantic salmon in preparation for the coming weekend. The fish average better than 1 kg in weight. For anglers under 14 years this is always a popular attraction. Junior anglers, assisted by their parents and Fishcare volunteers, can try their luck to catch a fish. Fish caught can be taken home for dinner or released if preferred. Get along early as there is quite often a queue waiting to have a go.
Adding to the excitement this year will be six tagged fish. If a junior angler is lucky enough to catch a tagged fish they will win a prize generously donated by 42 Degrees Real Estate. For more information click here.
