Title: Lightning Lures
Post by: Gav on November 04, 2012, 02:12:46 PM
Thought I would put a few pictures up of the lures that I have been making for my bass fishing. They get a good wobble up and the black one is my favorite as it has caught my biggest bass at 45cm to the fork. I make some other ones for flathead and bream which are similar but not as wide.

I now use a timber called geluton (think that is how you spell it) which I carve and sand to shape, I bought the bibs from the place that was at the lure show at fernvale which are really good (as I hated making them).

Cheers
Gavin

They do get down deep, but I like them as they don't snag up very much as the bib alows me to slowly pull them over the branches, rocks, etc.

Cheers

Yeah I love that in a lure. Stump jumpers are my favourite Oz lure, first ones I used that do it, so must of made a lasting impression!
