Title: Rod Repair
Post by: Craidon69 on April 17, 2013, 09:21:42 AM
Hi Guys,

Looking for someone local (Ipswich) to do some rod repairs. I have a old 9' one piece bream rod which needs all the guides replacing. If anyone knows someone, or a local member on here, pls msg me. Dont want to spend a fortune, but dont want to throw away a good blank either.

Cheers
Craig

Charlton's Tackle at Redbank offer that service.  I'd get a quote and compare it to the price of a new 9' brimrod though.  Some of the imported rods are cheaper than the components, and it's not as if you're chasing real fish with it.

Thanks Dale,

Got to make use of the lures and plastics and chase something during the closed season!
