Getting stir crazy
« on: March 03, 2013, 08:49:23 AM »
Need to fish but thats not going to happen (dams closed rivers like liquid chocolate) so I’m sitting here looking at google maps with the intent of finding new spots to try as the NPD has been serving up to many donuts of late .The upper reaches of the south pine river look promising with what appear to be some reasonable pools and not too much kayak portages which is good for a man of my vintage . So what I’m after from you good folks is any info as to whether it would be worth the effort or not and what sort of lures/flies would be a good choice to take
Thanks in advance
