Log jam cleared from Brisbane River

Thanks, I figured that I'd need to leave the flippers at home, sounds like an interesting paddle and some more bush pinstripes for the hull, just need some free time and convince the wife to pick me up downstream.

From Heart attack hill (Shines rd) to Twin bridges it's 14kms by river, but the last few kms as you approach twinnes you wouldn't bother fishing. It's gets a lot of fishing pressure. Think of the Lowood bend as the half way mark.

I generally agree mate. Tho I was taking an early morning paddle last week & saw a fellow land 2 x bass within 100m of Twin Bridges so you never know.

I've caught some good fish between Beavers and Twinnies.  The whole river is worth fishing.  I'd say my worst would be from Lowood Bend up to the old log jam, always found that pretty barren

Was there a few weeks back and saw 2 guys drive a little punt up through the log jam.

Yep. I saw them too. Dunno if you'd get me trying it though!
