Lake MacDonald fishing report

On the freshwater scene, the Bass have been most active around the edges in the Three Ways area. Spinnerbaits such as the Keitech Mini spins have been the go for targetting these edge bass. Also try throwing lightly weighted soft plastics (preferably rigged weedless) such as the Berkley 3" Nemesis, deep into the pockets of the weed.

Ed with a nice Bass off the edge at Lake MacDonald, this fish smashed a Keitech Mini Spin!

Diver was out there cleaning out weed today.
Reckon this arvo would have been a good session with the bass out looking for what no longer had a home to hide in!
