You might not get too many reports from either dam except from the locals until this wet weather leaves and travelling anglers return.

I know I'm very keen to head up there, shame the HWY is shut off.

Interesting will be getting there Matt. It blocked in about 800 places between Awoonga and you!! :-[ Doesn't look like easing up anytime soon.

Cheers Steve

Like Steve said ..... keep an eye on road conditions and closures
If you were heading up via Goondiwindi  you probably wont get through ....... and if it continues to rain  the Bruce Hwy will remain a problem.

This one came out on December 18th near Dingo.  There's been a lot of water under the bridge since then, so to speak.  The dam was overflowing when this one was caught.

Matt,
I'm not sure if travel is a wise thing, given the safety situation in Qld. I'd be re-thinking, but that's just me.

Do yourself and the Volunteer rescue services a favour, and spend the week at Burrendong. Come up in another week or so

Our route takes us west of any trouble, and we will only be driving roads that are open. Fear not- Nothing dangerous/stupid will be attempted!  Thanks for the thoughts though. Matt  :youbeauty
