Well i took the kids up to the dam on friday we got there about 8.30 am. it was quite windy so we put the pots in and went towards the wall end of the dam and used the wind to create a drift. Eldest boy tried his hardest to catch his first fish on a lure but it didnt work out for him.. But I must give him credit for his efforts and not giving up not bad for a 7 year old. We only got the one redclaw but the kids enjoyed catching it. After about 10.30am i thought we might tie up to a tree and fish with worms to see how we would go. The kids caught 7 large catfish eels and missed a few others.  We kept a few as the kids wanted to have them for dinner and let the rest go.  Must say they did tast quite good. Thanks to all that gave advice in my previous post.. If i can figure out the photos i will post them later.
