My hinze permit expires this week and since Go tackle at Nerang closed down I have been having to drive down to Southport to renew.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out you can now obtain a permit at the view cafe or also on line as well as the previous outlets down the coast.
Cheers to the stocking assn for the big improvement as previously it was a pain for non coast residents to obtain a permit.

Fishing Permits are required to fish the Hinze Dam. These are available for purchase. Weekly permits cost $5 and yearly permits cost $40. They are available for purchase at the following locations;
