Title: The Mary, will i ever get to fish it this season
Post by: Franke on October 12, 2010, 07:02:11 PM
Well much to my disappointment, all this rain has caused lots of rivers to flow lovely brown water. The river is expected to peak tonight at 12.5 meters, flooding Kidd Bridge here in gympie again. which is a shame because ive been looking forward to getting out in the kayak around gympie since the closed bass season... Seems im going to have to wait a bit longer  :-\

Cheers

Franke,

I think everyone can sympathize with you on that one!!!  Hopefully a couple of weeks should see you out and about again fingers crossed!!!  I went to spy a few holes that I had been fishing with some success and the holes that were around 15 metres across are now 250 metres wide hhahahahahaha.  The old man said a long range weather forecaster said this weather was hangin around till May-June next year with 6 cyclones predicted for Jan-Feb  :OMG Ohh well Fingers Crossed you get out soon!!

Regards
Colin
