Went out for a gander at Lake Moogerah to see how much it was spilling . At 5.30pm on the 30.1.12 it was 38cm over the spillway. Saw a few fish go over and a couple of unlucky turtles , I hope they didn't get to banged up on the way down the rock face.

On the way out to Moogerah I stopped in at Churchbank Weir . Looks like a good flow has been through there . The crossing below the weir still had almost a metre flowing over it .

After Moogerah spilling for most of last summer , Reynolds Creek and Warrill Creek fished very well . When things settle down a touch I'm thinking of giving Reynolds creek another go at Charlwood Road . I just hope that the 'James Blunt' at number 325 doesn't get his gun out again. :Hunting)
Here's a couple of pics of what Moogerah looks like without Ski boats .

Seqwater advises that due to rainfall in the catchment, Moogerah Dam is currently spilling.
-
So as of Monday 6th, how is the dam at 92% when it was overflowing last week? Does the dam only have a spillway and a cone valve?
-
After visiting a mate who lives out that way , I dropped into Moogerah last night . She was still spilling almost at the same rate as the previous Monday. Nice and clean too . The lake level as posted on this forum's homepage must be a typo , 102.9% would reflect how much is going over the spillway.
Gonna give Reynolds creek a hit this week some time . Bushwacker , I'll let you know soon so we can meet up.
Cheers,
Dave.

Dave can you give my spot on Reynolds a go as well. See if you can pull a bass out of there. Ive donutted twice.

Had look myself today the park is still closed, Went down to your launch spot the goat people have a 6 or so strand barb wire fence up .. keen to launch tho clean water caught 1 fair bass there too.
Spillway is only sorta trickling now maybe 10cm over ? hard to tell.

Ok looks like the 92% was just a typo! Looking at the dam level today on SEQ's website doesn't even show the "up and down" blip that it did on Monday. Today it reads 100% and still spilling!
