A large group of us fished the Dumaresq River over the last couple of days. Fish were caught morning, noon and night, on hardbodies, spinnerbaits and surface presentations. The pictures can tell the story.

Cracker fish Doug, bit surprised you were using Steve's lure and not one of your own creations. Wish we could have stayed to see it in the flesh. Thanks for the laughs guys and some great fish that were caught. Highlight for me was the double hookup on Yellowbelly with Steve off the same snag. Two different coloured fish from the same snag, weird. I didn't see the one Geoff caught from the same snag about a minute earlier but apparently it was a random colour for a yella as well.
Can't wait to get back there and do it all again.

Thanks for the report. Well done fellas. :Clap)
A pity I didn't get out there but had other duties to attend to. Johhny Walker and I amost made a dash for a night to watch the campfire TV. Great to see that bigger cod & probably better to see some yellas which were getting a bit scare there a few years back, they've recovered a bit.
Cheers,

Looks like she wanted that 2R's Slapp-RR's Dougie.
Could have got it out from the other end mate.
Thanks for sharing Dave. :youbeauty

That is absolutely unreal!
Do you gents head out on a trip like this every so often?
I'm on the GoldCoast and love my freshwater fishing, and would be so keen on flicking with some blokes out there. I spent the Anzac weekend by myself out at Yetman on the Macintyre and managed a few yellowbelly. :youbeauty Would love to get a few more cod under my belt.
Looks like a top trip :)
