Rainbow trout waters close

A reminder to all anglers that recreational fishing waters managed primarily for rainbow trout, plus Lakes Rosebery and Mackintosh, closed on 29 May 2016, that’s yesterday.

The waters that remain open to all year round angling are; the River Derwent downstream of the Bridgewater Bridge, kanamaluka/River Tamar downstream of the North Esk (A8) and South Esk (A7) road bridges, River Leven downstream of Allison Bridge at Golf Club Road, Huon River downstream of Huonville Bridge, yingina/Great Lake (except Canal Bay), Craigbourne Dam, Brushy Lagoon, Lake Pedder, Lake Barrington, Lake Burbury, Lake King William, Huntsman Lake, Meadowbank Lake and Pioneer Lake.
