Post by: Craidon69 on April 04, 2013, 10:08:45 AM
Hi Guys,

Anyone know if theres any fish in the Dalrymple Creek? Got a work wknd away middle of may at the Goomburra Valley Campgrounds, and was wondering if I should take a rod to have a flick?

According to Debbie, who runs the camp, there are Eel Tailed Catfish in the creek.  You can fish for them but they ask that you release them

Mate I've camp there a fair few time and fished the creek in the camp grounds for nothing haven't even seen a fish .
The kids just catch crayfish and release them they really don't like you crossing over into neighbouring properties to have a look .
There is a couple of creek crossings on the way in that look ok might be worth a go hope this helps it would be good to see how you go because I've never had any luck .
