Title: Somerset Dam Survey

Hi Folks,

There is currently a survey being undertaken regarding recreational fishing expenditure at Lake Somerset.

Copies of the survey are at the Somerset General Store (below dam wall) and at the Kirkleagh Campground office (where you drive in the gate)

If anyone is going to Somerset can you please take a few minutes to complete the survey & leave it there for us to collect in the coming weeks.

The information in this survey will help us find out how important recreational fishing is & assist with future fish stocking initiatives.

The survey is designed for people to fill out when they visit the lake.  Filling it out on-line, or anywhere else would defeat the purpose as some questions relate to "this" visit.

Can someone mail me a copy as I can comment for few dozen fishermen and women who never get to the lower end of the dam.

Should send a copy to the Kilcoy Club Fitzy, 80 odd members who mostly only fish from their own lease.

Virtually all copies have been distributed to the Somerset General Store & Kirkleagh TP office.

I can ask if the guys at Kilcoy Auto store (who sell a bit of camping/fishing gear) might be happy to keep the survey info there & move some there.... Would that assist?

Bearing in mind that the survey is meant to be filled out on the day you go fishing & expenditure around "that" day's fishing. It's not a general survey about Somerset itself.

Surveys need to be filled in at the outlet & left there for us to collect.
